Women’s Soccer Team Receives USC Team Academic Award
The Wells College women's soccer program was recognized by the United Soccer Coaches (USC) as a 2019-20 Team Academic Award recipient. In a press release from the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) today, the conference announced Wells College as one of three women's programs from the NEAC to earn the USC distinction.
To be recognized on the annual list, college soccer teams must post an average team GPA of 3.0 or higher. Of the three NEAC women's programs to be honored, Wells College had the highest GPA at 3.54. Joining the Express from the NEAC's women's soccer teams were Penn College and Penn State Abington. Both with Wells were among 582 NCAA women's teams to be recognized on this year's list.
