Wells College women's basketball held their first home game of the season Wednesday night when they hosted the Cairn University Highlanders.
The Highlanders jumped out to an early lead in this one and never looked back. The Express offense struggled producing just eight points in the first half. The two leading scorers for Wells were Trinity Thronton with five points and April Washburn with 4. Thornton also grabbed 10 rebounds.
Up next the Express will host SUNY Oswego on Monday night at 5:30 PM.
