Wells College women's basketball hosted Penn State Berks and celebrated their seniors on Saturday afternoon.
After one quarter, the Express was keeping this one close only trailing the visiting Nittany Lions by 5 points. The Lions began to pull away in the second when Wells only mustered 7 second-quarter points trailing 28-12 at the break. The offense for Wells College picked up in the second half but it was not enough to find their way back into this one against Penn State Berks, they would fall 61-37.
Mackenzie Kunkle and Morgan Adams are the two seniors on the women's team this year. They are both dual sport athletes, Mackenzie in soccer and Morgan in volleyball. We thank both of them for their hard work and dedication to the Wells College women's basketball program during their time here.
