Field Hockey Hosts the Keuka Wolves

Wells College Field Hockey hosted the Keuka College Wolves on Wednesday night for another non-conference match-up.

Five minutes into this one the Wolves took a small lead 1-0. Keuka was taking hard shots all half and a few more were able to find the back of the net. The Express defense was all over the field making the Wolves work for every shot they got. The Express did not have a corner in the first half so they struggled to produce scoring opportunities. At the half, Wells trailed 4-0. In the second half, Keuka ramped up their offense to continue to build their lead. A bright spot for the game and the season was when first-year goalkeeper Sadie Combs recorded her 100th season save in the 4th quarter!

Wells went on to lose 10-0.

Next, the Express will head to SUNY Morrisville on Tuesday for a 4 p.m. game.
