Women's lacrosse takes on medaille

On Saturday, the Wells College women's lacrosse team hit the road to take on the Medaille Mavericks.

This was another United East conference match-up for the Express and they were looking to secure their second conference win of the season. 

The Mavericks were looking to make a mark of their own today when they jumped out to a 5-1 lead at the end of one-quarter of play. Olivia Maish was the lone goal scorer for the Express in the first, netting her third goal of the season. Medaille would go on to hold the Express scoreless in the second quarter while continuing to build their lead and head into halftime with a 13-1 lead. The rest of the game was unfortunately all Mavericks. they scored 18 goals on the day helping them secure an 18-1 conference win over the Express.
