Wells College women's lacrosse hosted the top seed in the conference St Mary's College of Maryland on Saturday morning.
The top-seeded Seahawks brought a high powered offense to Aurora, NY putting up 36 shots with 30 of them on goal. The Express were only able to take 6 shots with 5 of them on goal. Clara Lima scored the lone (unassisted) goal against the Seahawks defense in the third quarter, her twenty second goal of the season. Olivia Garcia was on the draw for the Express and won a handful of draws that gave the Express some offensive opportunities. Unfortunately, the Seahawks took down the Express at home by a score of 23-1.
Women's lacrosse will be back home tomorrow at 2 PM against La Roche University on Senior Day!
