Express Fall to Mustangs On The Road

On Tuesday night the Express women's basketball team traveled to SUNY Morrisville for a United East Matchup. 

The Express were still looking to secure their first win of the season and this would be a tough test on the road at a United East opponent. 

The Express found themselves down early after some full-court pressure to start the game from the Mustangs. They fell behind 28-12 at the end of the first quarter and the Express were held scoreless in the second quarter sending them into halftime trailing by a score of 42-12.

Despite the constant effort from the Express, the second half brought more of the same. the Mustangs were able to execute on offense and defense and secure the win over the Express by a score of 78-33.

Morgan Adams: 8pts, 8rbs

Caroline Barr: 6pts, 15rbs

Lydia Thomas: 7pts, 8rbs

Women's basketball will be back in action Friday at Gallaudet!
