Wells Express Name Cooper Colesante to Take Over Men’s Volleyball

Director of Athletics, Tara Ruckh is pleased to announce that Cooper Colesante has been named Interim Head Men's Volleyball Coach and assistant women's volleyball coach for the Wells College Express.

"I'm excited to welcome Cooper Colesante back to Well's College as our next Men's Volleyball Head Coach.  As an alum of the program and Wells College, we are confident that Coach Colesante will help lead our program to improved success and compete towards the goal of conference championships."              Colesante is a former student-athlete at Wells College. He was a setter on the men's volleyball team from 2018 to 2022. During his time here Cooper landed himself fifth all-time in total assists and fifth all-time in assists per set. Colesante was a member of the 2019 team that won the NEAC Championship and made it to the elite 8.

            After graduating from Wells College, Cooper attended SUNY Potsdam where he also played men's volleyball during the 2022-23 season and tallied 51 assists.

            Cooper is a native of Central Square New York and Paul V Moore High School where he was a two-time All CNY men's volleyball player.
