Rodriguez Named All Region Rookie of The Year
Congratulations to Ransel Rodriguez for being named the Rookie of the Year for Region 4 by D3hoops.com.
Region 4 consists of 38 schools that have multiple teams ranked in the national top 25 poll, as well as NYU from the UAA.
Ransel Rodriguez, in his first season for the Express, averaged 15.5 points, 6.6 assists, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.2 steals! One of his most impressive games was at Penn State Berks where he had 37 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists. Rodriguez started 24 out of 25 games for the Express this season and scored in double figures in 18 of those games. He also had 7 games where he dished double-digit assists and 4 games where he grabbed double-digit rebounds. From the floor, Rodriguez shot 46% and from three-point land, he shot 38%. From the foul line, he shot 78%.
