Wells College Softball traveled to Penn State Berks on Friday for another conference play double header.
Berks put up six runs in the first inning of game one and help that lead for the rest of the game. Wells College had three hits in game one coming from Serina Sheradin, Shay Gonzales, and Natalie Day. On defense, the Express committed three fielding errors that helped Penn State Berks win game one, 13-0.
Game two started in similar fashion with Penn State Berks putting up eight runs in the bottom of the first. Unfortunately, the Express offense was held hitless in game two by the home team pitcher. Sara Mattle pitched a complete game for Wells College on the road but the Express fell in game two, 11-0.
Softball will head over to Penn State Abington tomorrow for a double header starting at 1 PM.
