Penn College
The Wells College softball team traveled to Penn College on Wednesday, April 14. The team completed the first game, but fell in defeat in five innings.
Two of the three Express hitters began hit streaks from the team's last game at Penn State Berks from last weekend.
Jennifer McCumber (Albany, N.Y.) and Morgan Adams (Waverly, N.Y.) each got hits against Penn to extend their play at the plate.
Also recording a hit was Erin Normile (Binghamton, N.Y.), who has had hits in five of the last six games. The first-year outfielder is also is the team's current batting average leader at .389.
Olivia Maish (Palmdale, Calif.) took the pitching loss after allowing two dozen hits after facing 53 batters.
The softball team next travels to SUNY Morrisville for a conference doubleheader on Friday, April 16.
