Wells College softball continued their road trip this Sunday when they took on the Lancaster Bible Chargers in a conference play doubleheader.
In game one for Wells College, the only two hits came off the bat of Shay Gonzales and Lauren Kimball. The Chargers on the other hand were able to score at least 4 runs in all 4 innings to take a convincing lead over the Express. Sara Mattle and Megan Litzenberger were on the mound for Wells College. LBC won game one, 19-0.
In game two, it was Lauren Kimball and Sara Mattle pitching once more. Serina Sheradin and Morgan brown tallied hits in game two and Serina Sheradin also grabbed a stolen base. The Chargers were able to add 11 runs in the first inning to help them build a lead over Wells College. LBC won game 2, 17-0.
Softball will return home this Tuesday when they host SUNY Delhi.
