Wells College men's basketball team took on the first-place Chargers of Lancaster Bible College on Sunday afternoon.
In the first half, Ransel Rodriguez exploded on offense scoring 13 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, and dishing out an assist. Ivan Oduro-Dompreh would come off the bench and shoot 100% from the field adding 8 points of his own. The Express forced the Chargers into 5 turnovers and took advantage of those getting out and scoring in the fast break. Wells College would take a 40-34 lead into halftime. In the second half, the Chargers put a lot of pressure on the Express full court. Lancaster Bible started the second half on a 22-8 run over Wells College. After Billy McCrae fouled out, the Express could not dig themselves out of this hole. The Chargers continued to hit timely shots and the Express turned it over 13 times in the second half alone. The Chargers take this road victory and remain at the top of the conference.
Men's basketball will host Penn State Berks next Saturday!
