Women's Volleyball closes out the season on the road.
The Express women's volleyball team traveled to Lancaster Bible for two matches this Saturday.
The Express were coming off of a tough road loss to Keuka College and were looking to finish the season strong.
Their first match was against St Mary's (MD). The first set went back and forth between the two teams. The Express fought until the end but were defeated in the first set 25-20. The Second set saw St Mary's take a good lead and carry it until the end and beat the Express 25-17. Unfortunately the third set was more of the same and the Express fell in 3 straight sets 25-16 and 3-0 total. Tori Sanders lead the Express with 7 kills and Caroline Barr was right behind her with 6.
The Second match for the Express was against Lancaster Bible. A strong Lancaster team go ahead and stayed ahead against the visiting Express defeating them in the first set by a score of 25-10. The Express battled back in the second set, not going away quietly, but fell once again by a score of 25-15. In what ended up being the last set of the Express' season, the express fell to Lancaster Bible by a score of 25-10, 3-0 total.
