Men's Volleyball Wins At Keuka, Now 3-0 In NEAC
The Wells College men's volleyball team capped a winning weekend with a three-set victory at Keuka College on Sunday, March 18. Set scores were 25-10, 25-15, 25-21. Wells is 15-6 overall and 3-0 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference. Keuka is 4-11 and 1-2 in the NEAC.
The hot-hitting Express cruised to claim the first two sets. In the opening set, Wells hit .414 with 15 kills and three errors. Wells won the final seven points in a row to take it 25-10. In the second set, 13 kills and two errors made for a .333 hitting percentage. Wells used a five-point run in the middle of the set to stretch its lead to 17-9. The third set was closer, but Wells used an early five-point run to take an 8-3 lead. The Express never trailed over the remainder of the set and won 25-21.
Brannon Perdicho had 13 kills to lead Wells. Josh Undari had 23 assists and Scott Litvin had eight assists. Kevin Batmunkh had 10 digs. Ryan Turner had four block assists. Robert Patzer and Brannon Perdicho each served three aces.
Wells continues conference play at home Sunday, March 25 against D'Youville College at 4 p.m.
