The Wells College women's soccer team played almost the first 60 minutes of its contest against visiting Lancaster Bible College either tied or down just a single tally, but with about 30 minutes left in the contest the Chargers got the insurance goal they needed to take a 2-0 win on Saturday, Oct. 12.
Jennifer McCumber was outstanding in the Express net and registered 16 saves for a near 90 percent save percentage. Offensively, Hayley Martin had Wells' best chance at getting the Express on the board.
The women's soccer team goes right back at it tomorrow, with a contest against visiting Gallaudet on Sunday, Oct. 13 with a 2 p.m. start.
