The Wells College field hockey team returned to the North Eastern Athletic Conference championship game after a one-year hiatus and lost 5-0 to host Keuka College on Saturday, Oct. 27. The Express has played in the NEAC title game three times in the four-year history of the event.
Keuka scored three times in the first half and added two second-half goals.
Caitlin Lawrence led Wells with two shots in the game. Wells goalkeeper Allison Solomon made 13 saves.
In a post-game ceremony, Wells players Abby Gilson and Whitney Coleman (pictured, back row) were presented with NEAC all-conference awards for their achievements in the 2018 season.
