Men's Lacrosse Grabs First Win
On Saturday afternoon the Express men's lacrosse team traveled to Keystone College for an afternoon match-up.
The men were still looking for their first win of the season, today they were hoping for a win on the road.
This game started off as a defensive battle. Until at the 8:15 mark of the first quarter when Jacob Stine scored to give the Express a 1-0 lead. the rest of the quarter was back and forth as each team scored two more times, for the Express it was Jacob Stine again and Shane Syms who helped give the Express a 3-2 lead after one quarter. In the second quarter, Wells was able to open up a 9-4 lead heading into halftime thanks to goals by Quinten Battle, Jacob Stine, Shane Syms, and Dan Stevens.
The second half saw the Express continue to score with Dakota Swamp joining the goal scoring of Quinten Battle and Jacob Stine. Jeremy Nunez also had 14 saves on the day to help the Express gain their first win of the season 15-5 over Keystone College.
